This read was very different than I thought it would be. I loved the portion where he discusses the difference between young and older people. I also loved the portion where he talked about the style of language...but otherwise, this was a very thick and challenging read. I don't know how much I'm even going to be able to retain now that I am done with it. Moving forward, though, I am just happy to have read something that was written by him (and his students). The history of the words is moving in itself.

The western classic on argument and persuasion. Several sections give insight into human character and what motivates, or persuades men. Several sections deal more formally with the shape and content of arguments, the use of metaphor, introductions, narrations, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It is okay. Aristotle is a bad writer. However, his ideas make sense and where really important for the human evolution!
