A book that condescends to you in the best way possible, taking the absolute mess that is 20th semiology and philosophy and making it an intense story with real fun plot twists. Basically an academic alt universe where these things are cool. It also contains the worst sex scene put to paper but it's just as insane as the rest of the book so I disagree with the "men writing sex" label people give it out of context.
