✦Fav Quotes✦
I’d made out with my best friend’s dad. And I wanted more.

“Oh? Here I thought you liked indulging in things you might be a little old for?”

I was trying to be a good man, but I’m not a saint.

“I’ve never fooled around with anyone on a Ferris wheel before”

“Don’t deny me what’s mine, Theo Graham.”

✦Thoughts✦
I have officially entered my QB Tyler era and I couldn’t be more obsessed.

The smut of it all. Omg so f’ing hot and good

The forbidden best friend’s dad that you’ve had a crush on ever since he moved in next door. Yasssssssssss

Avery girl…going after what she wants. A girl after my own heart. She was so sassy and took what she wanted. I loved it!

The chemistry between these two was so good and hot. The possessiveness over each other. Obsessed!

Daddy Theo Graham…yes please

Taking my kindle highlights for this one to the grave🤭

Was in the mood for something fast paced and on the spicy side, this did just that! This s about Avery who has had a crush on her neighbor Theo for year, small problem he is 24 years older and her best guy friend’s dad.  While I loved the sneaking around secret relationship I just couldn’t get over that big of an age gap. It was definitely a good palette cleanser book which is what I was looking for.

The Worst Kept Secret

4.5 🌶️
He’s my best friend’s dad, and I shouldn’t be crushing this hard. However when I kiss him everything else falls away. Theo Graham is a dream man, and I do not know what got into me but I want him forever now that I’m older.
.
This book is definitely not for everyone. I went in with an open mind, and I left it with wanting more books like it. Theo and Avery have a relationship like nothing I’ve read before. I truly loved every second. It gives just the perfect amount of spice (lots of it), and plot. I loved how we got to see each of them dealing with family problems. While also them navigating their relationship in a secret way and while falling deeply in love. I didn’t know how that conflict was going to resolve, and truly didn’t see it ending that way. I loved these two together so much that I truly wish it was longer. BRB, while I got read more of Q.B. Tyler 💕

I have been following the author on instagram for quite some time now. But for some reason, I had never picked up one of her books. Until now!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I liked the MMC a lot, I love the idea of an Ex-NFL star (especially because I’ve been watching so much football recently). I thought the romance and the spice between the two main characters was done well.

I do think that this would have been better with a little bit more of a slow burn. It just kinda goes from 0 to 100 in the very beginning and I would’ve liked for it to be a bit more gradual. Also, I enjoyed the amount of page time we got with the characters being together but it didn’t really seem like there was a plot until the end.

If you’re seeking a book that is heavy on the spice and slim on plot, I urge you to read this. Lots of very detailed spicy scenes, but the actual storyline was lacking for me. I wish there was a little more tension and anticipation, instead we hit the ground running and didn’t slow down. Middle of the road for me.
