This is an extremely short follow up to [b:Icing on the Cake|7987467|Icing on the Cake|Shayla Kersten|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1270510988s/7987467.jpg|12449913] that takes place three months after the events of that book. Basically it was one scene that gave us a bit more closure with these characters. My problem with it was that Jeff's reasons for shoving Ollie away are never fully explained. Not only that, a simple "Love you" magically solved all the problems in the relationship. It didn't feel realistic, no matter how much they were into the D/s lifestyle. I'm torn on keeping these books, but I do know I'll be avoiding the author in the future, as she's just not for me.
