There are so many small mistakes and odd ends in this short book. To match the rune of wealth (fehu) to the fire of muspelheim (which could've been the fire rune kenaz/cen) is a questionable start of the book, followed by things like mentioning rune numerology, rune yoga & kamasutra as well as recommending an author who is known to support fascist organisations within heathenry to label his controversy instead on him not being a Heathen... oh man even tho this was free with my audible subscription I regret wasting the ~4hrs on it. Not to say there's 0 value in it but it doesn't outweight the questionable shit in here.

The only real pro I'll give it is that it mentions some Frisian deities rarely mentioned elsewhere, tho not in any great detail. There is an attempt in being trans inclusive but then some bits are still awkwardly presented in a very binary manner that I feel undoes some of the attempts made, make your own judgement on that.

The author is a community manager for Ásatrú on Facebook and this book benefits from her experience. It is well organised and approaches the subject logically without trying to persuade. I’ve no complaints. I feel better equipped to have conversations about Ásatrú and engage with practitioners here in Iceland.
