the way this is written really paints the baumgartners as predators which is a super unfortunate regression from their relationship with danielle. so yeah this isn’t working for me and i’ll probably steer clear of this author in the future

Ronnie has been babysitting for the Baumgartners’ two kids for a few years, and now she’s considered part of the family. When Doc and Mrs. B decide to take a vacation, they invite Ronnie along, all expenses paid. Ronnie’s thrilled to be able to work on her tan while watching the kids on the private beach.

Things start to heat up when Mrs. B suggests they sunbathe topless, and Ronnie can’t help being attracted to the older woman’s perfect body. Both Doc and Mrs. B seduce the babysitter, but it doesn’t take much to get her into their bed.

Babysitting the Baumgartners is what I would classify as porn without plot. If that’s your thing, then perhaps you’ll enjoy this story. I did not. There were quite a few things working against it. Right off the bat, there were errors in the plot including the ages of the children and when the family was taking the trip. The story was also a bit unrealistic. Ronnie is nineteen, but she seemed quite naïve yet she went along with everything the Baumgartners said or did. And then there was the cliché. She watched them having sex and got off from it more than once. Doc was watching porn and she decided to masturbate where he could see her. Mrs. B had to shave her bikini area for her. Having suffered through all of this, I at least hoped for a decent ending. I was disappointed once more. The Baumgartners basically dumped her for another babysitter after they returned from the trip.

I’m sure some readers will enjoy the eroticism, but it just didn’t work for me. Babysitting the Baumgartners includes m/f, f/f, and m/f/f scenes.

I really enjoyed this story about a girl who is becoming a woman and learning that desires don't come in just one shape and size. Ronnie finds out who she really is as the couple she babysits for become her tutors in the sexual world. I loved this story so much I went and got all the other books in the series. Great read!

I read this book not realizing there were others in the series but the writing is so good that you do not notice (too much).
I am pretty sure this was one of the first books I read in the erotica section and glad it was.
I was excited when I heard there was a DVD being produced.

When i heard a book was being made into a porn movie, i was curious. So i looked and i found the source. I won't say it's a bad book, just not for me. It took me till half through chapter 1 to realise, when the babysitter was getting hit on by the mother while the father sat on the deck masterbating. It's not just that however, i was also put off by the author's style. None of this indicaites BtB is a bad book, just not for me.

What i would like to know is how did it get tunred into a porn movie?

Let me start off by saying this was my first outing with Selena Kitt, but my second time with the book. The first time I tried the audio book and only lasted 15mins. Now this might have put me off, but suddenly i started hearing people raving about it so i decided to try again. Audiobooks, after all, are much more than just the written author's world, and any one of those things can put you off, while the book is just the author.

While reading, I really enjoyed this. Now let me say that just about every chapter has an element of sex, be it voy or straight out threesome. The story is deep as the characters, but it's not trying to be so it doesn't really matter.

I was really tempted to give this five stars, but it failed me in two areas: (spoiler ahead so be warned)
1 - Veronica seemed to take to it all very easily, all of a sudden with no real inner conflict or much thought on it.
2- The ending For all the Baumgartners talk of their feelings for Veronica, they replace her without a word and she just takes it with a shrug and a C'est la vie.

Not deal breakers but for me it moved it down to 4-4.5.
