Edit is mine, photos are not.
Dawn of Eve by @pamgodwin is the final book in the trilogy that shattered my soul into a million pieces.
Earlier this year, after being pushed into is by the Pam Pusher, also known as @theinfinitereaderr, I read Dead of Eve and Blood of Eve.
I had to take a little bit of a break before Dawn of Eve because to be honest with you, Dead of Eve broke me. Lol. I'm still not sure I was okay enough to read this one, but I survived.
This trilogy was 100% not something I ever imagined loving as much as I did, but y'all, don't sleep on this series. It's a paranormal/post apocalyptic romance and it's freaking incredible.
Dawn of Eve was honestly just perfection. It was the perfect ending to this amazing trilogy.
Dawn is the daughter of Eve and she's trying do everything in her power to save the human race after the apocalypse.
I honestly just don't have the words to say how amazing Pam did with this book. She has such an amazing way with words and for making you fall in love with even the darkest, shittiest characters.
Dawn and Salem had such good chemistry, sexual tension, and angsty banter throughout this whole book. I loved seeing their character development from beginning to end.
I loved Pam's ability to showcase the tough parts of Dawn and the softer parts of Salem. She also did such an amazing job with the plot twists that I didn't see coming.
This book 100% kept me on my toes the entire time and I just truly don't have the words.
Thank you Pam for writing such an amazing trilogy with such amazing characters.
P.S. Can you please write book four? I need more Dawn and Salem. Thanks. Lol.

I'm reviewing all three books in this. I think next line would convince you how much I have loved this series! I read all three books in three days back to back and I can't rave much about it!! I mean I really love a series which develops everything. Characters, the secondary characters, the villains, the pace and the reason for the book! It had so much depth in it, so unpredictable, so interesting and I was holding my breathe while reading it. It was so filled with tension the love the sacrifice in the book! The sexy scenes! HOT! The fight! Damn scary ! I was so involved in this book. I felt like I was in this book!

4.5 stars.

Overall I’d give the series a high 4.5 stars, very close to 5 because I genuinely loved it.

I only can’t give this a full 5 stars because
Spoilerthere’s some super rapey scenes that made me really uncomfortable. Obviously the scene where he stakes his claim in front of the Hybrids, and then again when she shuts off and is like a shell and he tries to get her back with sex. Honesty, the last was the most uncomfortable because it was kinda mentioned in passing and while it wasn’t detailed like the first, but it surrounded by her brushing all of the rape off as something he felt he had to do etc etc and made me feel more icky while reading.

Other than those, I really loved the book and genuinely loved the series and the writing and world building. I wish P.G would do more of this genre, but I’ll definitely be checking out others of hers that I’ve actually had on my TBR much longer than this series was. Fingers crossed I like them just as much.

I finished this trilogy with tears in my eyes. It was beautiful and harmonious, I could not have loved more. The parents' relationship was something so well done that I was enchanted. Honestly, this is the best trilogy I've been reading for a long time!

So this one was slightly bittersweet after the finish of the previous book.
But I needed this to help heal my broken heart.
So this story takes place roughly 20 years later and Dawn the daughter of Eve is now full-grown and the leader of the human resistance.

After a mission in Canada Dawn finds herself a prisoner of some unknown element locked in a concrete box with a fanged stranger.

Her new cellmate is Salem son of Elaine and though he has fangs he’s not technically a hybrid but instead due to his mother’s genetics he’s like Dawn’s fathers Jessie, Rourke and Michio.

So initially I really liked Salem a lot.
He’s hot, dominant and knows exactly what he wants.
He and Dawn were always on the cards and their connection upon meeting here is almost instantaneous, So much so he’s determined to keep her.

But this story is far from straight forward and there are plenty of secrets, heartache, and betrayal on the horizon.
And there were seriously times here when I wanted to completely annihilate Salem for his omissions and silence.
In particular one incident, that man left me so pissed at him.
Like lividly angry chuck my kindle across the room want to lop it off pissed.

This one for me I thought read more like a romance than previous books in the series.
That’s not a criticism only an observation.
This managed to wrap the series up nicely answering questions and giving some final closure.

So yeh I did enjoy this one a lot and it thankfully managed to heal some of the hurt left behind previously.
This series has been one heck of a ride and though it has not always been easy I’m glad I get to leave thing’s on a good note with a smile on my face and some happy thoughts.

This was fucking hard won. I almost didn't even read this book, but in the end, I'm glad I saw it through.

I can't say I recommend this series, but man, was it bold. I am impressed, even if it hurt me a lot.
