This book was fine. It didn’t blow me away. It was a little heavy handed or corny at times. Lots of queer and trans characters. A dystopian future that feels just like the Wild West.

There’s some great commentary here. I am surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did, although I struggled with the beginning. I feel like I will have to read it again to appreciate it fully.

A FUCKING NBLW ROMANCE!!!! And found family!!!! The depiction of the enby character and the way the mc falls in love with them was so pure, I loved it very fucking much. Plus a wlw side couple!
