A twisty dark thriller.  It took a direction I really didn’t see coming. Enjoyable.

This wasn't as good as I'd hoped with a few things I think the author may have overlooked especially regarding the French language, for instance there is a part where Adele finds a word scratched into the floor and doesn't question why it's in English not French whereas normally that would be a significant question to be curious about.

It was also a bit like watching a YouTube video about a beautiful place but where you can only see the face of the host. I'd have liked to find out more about the chateau itself and the people the book discusses, it dwelt too much on about 4 characters and their feelings ignoring the larger story itself which would have made it much more interesting.
