"Ajax" was one of my favorites of all the Greek tragedies. The focus on honor and the challenge of a soldier to re-enter civilian life I found extremely relatable to today. Also fell in love with the character--felt for him.
"Electra" was great for the same reasons I loved the Orestia, and Philoctetes was decent--a fun side story to the Trojan War concerning Odysseus and a sharpshooter.
The other stories I trudged through and months later I can hardly remember.

I'd knew nothing of Philoctetes before reading it, and was most compelled by it of all these plays... until a deus ex machina moment that must have defined deus ex machina. Did this not bother the Greeks at the time?
