Enjoying the series and looking forward to the final installment. Maybe a bit of padding in this one, I actually skipped through some of the fight scenes.

Another bus ride book. Started to faulter and not going to read the third. It just got a little ridiculous and I have a low bar for these type books.

It's a well-written sequel with lots of action, fighting, swearing and killing. In my opinion there was simply too much detail - every movement was described meticulously and it made the story drag out. I also did not like the way the female ER doctor kept using the 'f' word - it just didn't seem to gel with the way her character was otherwise portrayed. Other characters swore too but it seemed more in keeping with their persona.

If you like a surfeit of military action, guns and 'zombie'-type massacres you'll probably enjoy this. 3.5 stars.
