Another fabulous instance of Baudrillard "speaking Evil", trying to make something out of the Nothing that haunts the world. The metaphysics of duality that he proposes, against the reconciliation of dialectics or the integration of monism, is for me most interesting as a theory of play (rather than of the world-as-illusion and its relationship with theory, which is what Baudrillard is getting at). The chapters on The Dice Man are most illuminating in this regard.
