I was kept guessing on who the killer is throughout the book. What is always interesting about Keigo’s books are that the way the crime is committed is often shocking and unexpected. I enjoy finding out that the clues are shown throughout the book. I do enjoy the pacing of the story.

Suspect X was amazing, unfortunately this next installment was simply a poor imitation. Dull and excruciatingly slow, I just didn't care about any of the characters. None of them grabbed me the way they had in his first novel and by the end of this book I was thoroughly pissed off with the shameless Sherlock rip-off the university scientist had become. Give it a miss. Hopefully the third book will show this author back in his a-game.

i would give it 3 and a half if I could, it was really really good until the last like 20% where they had a massive deus-ex machina that basically solved the case for them
