A wonderful collection. Riordan includes fairy tales from all over the world. He keeps tale types, so there is a "Cinderella" tale, but he picks lesser known types. Also nice was the fact that the illustration style changes with each tale and matches where the tale comes from in terms of style.

This was a beautiful book! I loved the illustrations; definitely had that magical, fairytale feel to them and they completely added to all of the stories! I also liked how it was a bunch of different illustrators, which brought their own, individual style and concepts to the stories.

It was also very neat to read the lesser-known fairytales, and there was pretty much a story from every prominent culture in the world! Very enjoyable read, and one that is truly a classic.
