Queer historical romance novel. It definitely ticks lots of boxes. Not my usual wheelhouse (aka romance) but was a good easy read. It was endearing and sweet, I did find the tension around Priss to be…lacklustre? I had to flip back and reread the “argument” to double check who said what. The whole ordeal felt forced just to add some tension as it was all over in as many pages as it had begun (not many). Otherwise a good solid and wholesome read.
