I enjoyed this way more than book 1! I’d say skip that one and just start with this one!

Can’t wait to read the next book!

★★★★ A hot follow-up to [b:Blue Moon: Too Good to Be True|18697605|Blue Moon Too Good to Be True (Blue Moon, #1)|A.E. Via|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1382381244s/18697605.jpg|26550447], this focuses on The Beastmasters, the elite SEAL team that saved Angel in the first book. While it was mostly about Hawk and Pierce, it also featured the romance of Angel's father, Shot and his lover, FBI agent, Fox. Overall, an awesome book and series that is a must-read! It just went too fast for me! It seemed like I just started reading and it was over. And I want more of The Beastmasters! And with the intro of Alpha, there are most definitely more stories to tell!

I really enjoyed this story. It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved getting to know Pierce and the Beastmasters better. This story is more fast paced in some ways as they are on a mission trying to take down the Russian Mafia and drugs in the states with Pierce leading the team as the DEA and strategist and the Beastmasters as the special team to do the takedowns. Pierce is looking for these to be the last takedowns so that he can retire and find peace. Hawke knows that Pierce is the one for him but he has been hitting lots of walls and getting nowhere quickly. I loved watching these two finally start to figure things out and then getting further and further down that path as things heat up with the action. Fox and Shot are our second couple that are trying to figure things out. They both deeply care about each other but Shot has walls up on it being anything "serious" and very relationship like and things start coming to a head there as well and they have to figure out how to move past it and move forward and if it can be together or apart. I really enjoyed this one and the new characters that were introduced. It will be interesting to see them in the next book.
The narrator did a good job with the voices of characters personalities and accents to help bring the story alive.

ah! This!
I mean, the first book with Max and Angel is my absolute favorite but Dane and Pierce? Ah man, the love that I could off the pages was just...well shit it was just lovely! Such a great read Via! I laughed, I cried in heartbreak and I swooned all in a matter of the days it took me to finish!

“They were moving on to love.”

Last year when I picked up this really funny titled book Blue Moon To Good To Be True, I never realized that this book would be one of my “go to” books when I was in a book slump.
When it was suggested to Adrienne to give us more “Beastmasters” I waited patiently, waited even though Hawk quit speaking to her, even when she told us he was being an ass and would not loosing up and relax to tell her his story. But after a couple of bottles of wine, he finally let go and gave her his story.

Then Ms. A gave him to us, and sweet baby Jesus what a story he had to tell. As with all her previous books I could not put it down, wonderfully written story, great action and some new character interaction. The running storyline of two couples so spot on, Even though she is relatively new to the genre she has yet to give me a book that wasn’t truly captivating and leaves with such a warm feeling inside.

This book was given to me by the author for my honest review!
