sweet, sweet lovely book. exactly what i want in a graphic memoir. i really related to this author's journey to realizing she was gay, and overall it was just such a lovely story about understanding yourself. can't give it less than 5 stars!

A quick read, read in one sitting. The story felt extremely relatable, though not life changing. The pacing made it feel like a webcomic. I liked it, though I wish there were at least a few full color illustrations.

A sweet - though complex - story about coming out. A relatable story. My biggest complaint is the art and the inconsistency of styles. I also wish it showed more of the world in each scene but ultimately it works as it is.

This was a freaking joy to read! I loved her art style a lot and the simplicity of it. I also loved that she talked about her coming out as not being one singular moment and how even when she did "come out" she still had to wrangle with the idea internally before she was completely comfortable. Overall a very lovely read :)

As a complete sidenote, small shout out for Canadians because she mentions going to Toronto which was super cool!
