I really like it when a character shows great development through out the story. Boruto’s development here would be equivalent as a great to me as he now becomes more understanding and somewhat selfless.
I also love the fight scenes here especially Mitsuki ❤️.

possibly nostalgic bias but these first few arcs are nowhere NEAR as iconic or quotable as the naruto ones. barely anything happens, the characters are so poorly developed and the villains are lackluster and missing something.

It feels like a filer. It's just here to show that Boruto has a mark. But at lest the scene with the collectors card with Orochimaru on it was absolutely hilarious.

After finished reading this I realized I don't remember a single thing about this volume. After the big arc, they decided to put something in between and I don't care any of it. There is a boy named Tento and a big fat dude. The fights are pretty basic and I don't know why people even liked this volume. This whole arc is one big joke except for the ending which is in the next volume. Pretty weak and filler-like volume in my opinion.

Perfect volume for 7th-9th graders -- a must purchase -- and longtime Naruto fans will love the nostalgic return of a simple Ninja mission that leaves the complicated politic sub-plots to the background. I was a little worried about this series because the first three volumes had so many references to the Naruto series, but it's now standing on its own.
