I love this series so far. It picks up with the issues the guild had in the Hades series. There are some secrets going on. Some of them get exposed in this book, but still a lot to be revealed. We meet both of Dani’s love interests. So far, I am a Kai girlie. We will see if that changes as this progresses. Also, for those who have read Haunting Adeline…”that scene” is in here to an extent. Hot AF. Love Kai.

I read this book for a book club near the end of the month. The book is well written, but there were some scenes that were uncomfortable.

🚩 kidnapping

🚩torture 

🚩stalking 

🚩sexual assault 


The book had some extremely uncomfortable moments and the book had zero trigger warnings. I won’t be pursuing the rest of the series.
