I'm a sucker for a web of characters who, as the story progresses, all find themselves crossing paths. This time those paths mostly ended in murder.

The audiobook was mildly entertaining, not very engaging or with an intriguing plot. But a rather ok book to listen to

I started this series in the middle a little while ago, and that book was much better. Not to say this first entry isn't an enjoyable, wild ride, but the other one I read was just...better.

It was clear that Dorsey had some raw ideas, but I'm not sure he knew exactly where he wanted this series to go. The character of Serge A. Storms is always fun to follow, but the story wasn't as tight as it was in the other book I read. It's nice to see an author improve and perfect an idea, so reading this first entry was definitely worth it.

I can't wait to dig into the rest of these books!
