OMG! If you're going to read this book, you have to read the audiobook! It's amazing!! There's sound effects, actual voice lines for C3-PO and R2-D2, and so much more! The only thing that would have been better was if the main cast had separate VOs instead of the one audiobook narrator. But honestly the narrator does a fantastic job and was probably the best I've ever listened to.

The story itself is witty and has a lot of depth for a Middle-Grade/Young-Adult novel. It follows the movie's plot pretty closely, but expands upon the characters thoughts, backstories, and emotions. Return of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie, so I may be a bit biased, but I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a really quick read!

Soy fan de la saga y cómo me paso con los anteriores, siento que me completa un montón la historia de las películas, además la lectura fue súper ágil.

Nice retelling with just a bit of extra info making it a worthwhile read. No distracting "so you want to be a Jedi" asides - just good fun.

It was an enjoyable book to read. It returned to the form of the first retelling. It was nicely written and it was great to get into the heads of the characters without having to use the second person point of view.

It was interesting when they added in history of Vader when he was Anakin and his times with Ashoka but it didn't take away from the story

Oh wow, after the last one I expected this one to be mediocre. Not at all!!! This one was brilliant!!! I adored it so much! Well written, funny, powerful, and I love how Angleberger kept avoiding the gore but didn't hide the violence of the war and battle. Also they sang Yub Nub, the original ending scene.

Oh and I can't get over the fact that Padme, Ahsoka, and even Ezra is all mentioned (Ezra not by name, of course). I fangirled so much reading this. THIS IS THE STAR WARS I LOVE!!!

5/5, absolutely brilliant!!!

Another brilliant book in the Star Wars retelling.

I was, of course, a bit skeptical when I picked this one. I had enjoyed book one of this series but not book two. So I had lowered my expectations just a bit on this one. I see now I was wrong. This one was entertaining and full of more action.

This book was different from the last. There were no confusing points of view. Told in third person narrative with a dash of humor laced within the pages, it was a fun read and one that was really hard to put down even for a moment. I think I spent an entire night devouring the pages of this book from front to end and I was happy. Really happy with the ending results.

This series took me back to my childhood. I have loved Star Wars since I was a child and I continue to love Star Wars even now. These books have brought back so much nostalgia.

If you are looking for something that draws you back into a "galaxy far, far away..." then these are the books you are definitely looking for!

I think I liked this book in this series of retellings most of all (the New Hope reimagining being a close second). There were a ton of details, and even though there were some small scenes that were left out (which of course I’d notice that) it really was a super easy and fun read.
