I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did.
Short stories are harder to lose yourself in than longer narratives, but these short stories drew me in and wrapped me up. I've laughed and cried.
For someone who doesn't like romance as a genre and isn't sure I believe in romantic love, I've read a hell of a lot of romance books and books about romantic love this year. I love the range of voices and characters in this one. I love the different types of love that are presented.

David Levithan is a great writer.

This was a likable book until I hit the end when I loved it. I liked the last three tracks the best and I’m glad I persisted. I look forward to sharing it with others.

Generally good stories. A few sections I didn't really connect with (the playlist, poetry, and story about his parents), most were enjoyable, and a few I really really liked, notably the one about A, and the march in Atlanta. In particular, and I'm not entirely sure why,
SpoilerText. Your. Mom.
had me in tears. I just sat there, reading with wet cheeks.

I had to DNF. This was painfully boring. Every time I got invested, the story was over. As a collection of short stories it just really missed the mark for me.
