Here it is the final days and everything is going to go switchy. Yes, switchy, because nothing will stay the same. Switching up everything is what this book does. Our heroine Lor is finally getting her powers under control and she has picked up a new really cool one that can taker her anywhere, anytime. ( I want this power) Anyway, she faces the ultimate battle, the dark is coming. Something changed while she was hiding away at boarding school something that made things worse. Her friends, family and the world will forever be changed after this day.
I look forward to see more in this series.Ms. jones keeps her characters witty, snarky and full of charm even in the darkest times.
Young Adult book, with no sex, no (I don't remember any) offensive language.

For some reason, I just did not like the ending. It just happened ridiculously. I loved this series and I just didn't think it would end this way.

Hmmmmm, Is the ending too easy? Is it possible? Do I care?

No, not really, I didn't really care much about these characters. "But you've been together for 3 books?!" Yeah, I still don't care... good for them, their story is done...happy happy.

You can't have an entire trilogy centered around a girl with mystical powers who is prophecied to save the world, and then end it by having her go back in time and rewrite history so the whole trilogy never happened. OUT. GET OUT.

Wow, didn't see the ending twist coming!
Really amazing trilogy, really mesmerizing story!

Jones is the only author I know who has characters who deeply and passionately love each other as friends and as family. In YA novels there's always romantic love but you just don't see the love of best friends. At least not very often.
