The last book of 2016 finished on the last day :D
Great ending to a wonderfully fun series that had me screaming at the events and characters many times in a good way.
I finished this series and really enjoyed it for these reasons
-Lia is not a doormat
-Lia is a commander with brass ovaries
-Lia has many men in her life but does not play games unless they are called for. :P
-Lia loves completely and honestly
- Rafe and Kaden were both good honest guys
- I like a love triangle even though this one fizzled very early
- The supporting characters were unique believable and easy to care for or hate.
-The story came with a history that had a ring of possibility for our future.

This was a really great conclusion to the trilogy! Not my favourite in the series but still amazing! I wish more people would read the series because it is a fantastic political fantasy trilogy with great romance that balances with the fantastical elements. This series has some of my favourite characters of all time and could not recommend it enough!

I got bored and annoyed. I hate to not just finish the last book in a series but there are better books out there that are more worth my time. The characters were all obnoxious and I found myself just not caring about any of it anymore. When Rafe tried to get Lia to sleep with him as a way to manipulate her into forgiving him I finally called it quits. No thanks.

My favorite of the series! So much payoff and awesome character moments. I wish I had read the books closer together bc there are a lot of names to keep track of, but it was an enjoyable ride. I’m excited to read the spinoff duology.
