Rounded up, since I enjoyed the sibling relationships. Also, the portrayal of the life of children of alcoholics was wrenching.

Connor fell in love at age 12, but Jess would have nothing to do with him until 9 years later and since then she has called all the shots. However, he is tired of their secret relationship and wants more.

My favorite of K. Higgins' "Blue Heron" novels so far! Connor and Jess were absolutely precious and heart-wrenching. I cried so hard at the end of this book. Jess's pain was palpable. It was great to see her story arch from Faith & Levi's love story where Jessica comes across as rather catty and unlikeable, and through to this novel that gives us her background, the reasons that she's done what she's done, and fleshes her out completely, making her seem more real a character than any of the other _Blue Heron_ characters have ever felt for me. Oh, and was I glad to see that conniving shrew Marcy get what was coming to her at the end! I almost feel, though, that perhaps Marcy's got her own story? Perhaps deep down she's not as awful as she seemed in this novel? Who knows. Maybe K. Higgins will give us a story-arch for Marcy as well, and give that character some humanity and some redemption, the way she did Jessica Dunn.

Loved it! Kristan Higgins does it again. Incredibly sweet love story with a hero to die for - Connor may be my new favorite book boyfriend. :) I love a happy ending, and this one had me in tears (in a good way).

The last of the Blue Heron series from Kristan Higgins tells the story of Jessica Dunn and Connor O'Rouke, who were supporting characters in the other 4 books. This novel featured Higgins usual mix of romance and light humor in a small town setting. I admit I found myself forgetting who a few of the supporting characters were but I was glad to reconnect with others (Pru still cracks me up) and Colleen and Connor's twin interactions made me laugh. A sweet if not especially memorable romance.

Could not finish.
While I was sympathetic to the heroine, I could not find her likable or interesting enough to get over how much I disliked this plot and the way she treated the hero.

Kristin Higgins is an author that I have come across in passing but not read much of her work. With Anything for You she threw in a twist. It's the guy who wants all or nothing and the floundering is from the female. I loved her in depth look at Connor and Jess. This story had all the right hot spots for me. Wonderful writing, great characters and that is just naming a few. Am glad I took a chance. Was not disappointed. Thanks NetGalley and Harlequin.

Well now that I devoured this series what am I supposed to do? This one also made me cry at the end... oy. Super cute. Needed a light series like this.

I can't really put my finger my finger on why, but I just didn't care for this one. I didn't like the on again/off again nature of Jess and Connor's relationship, and the HEA felt like it came out of nowhere, which made it hard for me to really buy it (especially in regards to Jess' change of heart). A lot of the book (particularly the scenes that were meant to be humorous, like Connor's meeting with the investors) felt a little forced. I usually enjoy the author's books, but this series has been pretty hit or miss for me :/
