Pointed narrative about historical events through the eyes of a terrorist's child. So many factors in the whole situation. Very sad. Quick read.

What a great book about rejecting hate. Very quick read, too.

“Każdy ma wybór. Nawet jeśli wyszkolono cię do nienawiści, możesz wybrać tolerancję. Możesz wybrać pokój.”

“Ale nawet ci, których od dziecka wychowano na nienawiści, których umysły zostały spaczone i uzbrojone, nawet ci mogą dokonać wyboru, jaką ścieżką chcą podążyć.”

This story was particularly interesting as we don't see the side of the children affected by parents who are terrorists very often. I like that it is paired with a TED talk. I could see the talks and text being used in the classroom, especially with recent events that have been occurring.

Consumed via audiobook. Narrated by the author.

A short, autobiographical dive. Not very deep, but interesting all the same.

Incredibly powerful, short nonfiction. Totally deserves its 2015 Alex Award!
