I actually quite enjoyed this short read. It was hot. Insanely hot. And not just because of the fire fighter. Fast love story, seems to be a theme for Cara Malone. But at this point in the series, I'm interested in the background story being weaved more than quick romance.

This is my favorite book in the series partly because the setup is so over the top. The characters are mature and make showing their respective teams appreciation for hard work in the face of catastrophe part of how they connect as a couple.

I am really excited reading this series. Each story has its own crime to be solved and you get one more piece of the mystery yet to be investigated. Amelia is the very hot ME for Fox County and she meets Simone a firefighter at the scene of a disaster. You just know things are going to heat up between them. This is a great series and I recommend that you start at the beginning with Mind Games.
