Second in the BLOODWATER MYSTERIES series, this is another low-key, humorous mystery, mostly intended for a YA audience. The protagonists of the previous book are back, this time tackling an archaeological and environmental mystery. There's nothing TOO scary or TOO suspenseful, but the characters are well-drawn, and it's a compelling narrative. It's nice to read a YA book where the parents are alive and supportive, even if they aren't always happy with the choices they make.
A nice, diverting read.
