Oh I am such a sucker for this, I’m hopelessly lost. I tagged this spoilers, I hope y’all take that seriously.
The SLOW BURN! Watching these two dance around each other, slowly learning, slowly rubbing away the defenses and the instinctual spikes they throw up initially when things start getting too close to home. It is... *chefs kiss*. I really can’t rant about it enough. And it’s so gradual! It’s this slow extension of olive branch after olive branch. This learning of behaviors and boundaries and I am WAITING because you know someone is going to snap the truce. Oh I am so ready for the next book...

I loved this volume! The story just keeps getting better and better!
I like that Mias and Elle are beginning to understand each other little by little. Although they are still as stubborn as ever 😂
I liked that there was even more magic involved in this volume. Plus that there was more backstory for both Mias and Elle. I can't wait to know more about both of them. Especially what exactly lead to Mias being trapped. As well as more of his family. Elias is hilarious and I loved him with the pineapple! 🍍😂
The cliffhanger ending was really good and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next!
