Don't let that cover fool you; this was VERY adult. I think the characters were alright but this felt too long and I feel like Nate doesn't have as much character as Anastasia does.

I read this as part of a kindle challenge- it’s the first in a series. I thought it would be a fun rom com in a book. I also love hockey so I liked the idea of a figure skater and hockey player ending up together.

This book was spicy! Way more spicy than I would pick or prefer, but with the other fun elements of a romantic comedy. A bit long- but the chapters alternate narrators so it moves quickly. I admit I sometimes forgot who was the I in the chapter since it went back and forth between Nathan and Anastasia. Spoiler- I love that she does have an unplanned pregnancy- but after she wins a gold medal in skating and Nate apparently has won a Stanley Cup.

"Anything you read... I'll do to you when I get home" 😍 So so good! I loved all the characters (except Aaron for obvious reasons).  Stacia and Nate's relationship is so perfect too. I wish there was a bit more closure with Nate's family, but maybe that will happen in a future book? I just felt that story line kinda of fell off the radar.
