I love that this a classic poem illustrated for children. I do think that the illustrations could have done a better job of showing some of the words that aren't commonly used anymore, such as 'kirk'. Then again, maybe they felt like that would make it seem religious as opposed to broadly appealing.

With text from the poem by Robert Louis Stevenson, this book has a few words that young readers will find confusing and need to use their comprehension skills to figure out. The illustrations are bright, colorful, and imaginative, but for me, the poem was a little blah for the target age group.
