It’s a fun read! I wasn’t looking to be wowed or for it to rock my world so it met my expectations.

I started out not liking the book—the jumping of perspectives among 3 different women—the intended victim, the detective, and the actual victim’s mother—startled me and set me on the edge.  Once I got beyond that, and as the mystery deepened and the characters developed, I found myself enjoying the book.  BP is rather good at juggling different points of view.
