OK I had a serious problem with this book. Spoilers....

The main character drugs her ex-husband and ties him to a bed to trick him into having sex with her and getting her pregnant. They just happened to have gotten divorced because he DIDN'T WANT CHILDREN. How the eff is this ok? So not cool. And by giving it a happily ever after it unconsciously condones the actions. Despite their divorce due to irreconcilable differences, Gage Marshall and his ex-wife Jenna Langan still have strong feelings for one another. So, when Jenna decides she wants a baby, Gage is the only candidate for fatherhood that she has in mind even if he is reluctant.

Jenna's actions at the beginning of the novel are inexcusable. Drugging, binding and "seducing" a man into having sex is rape, plain and simple. It does not matter one iota that he enjoys himself and he loves his ex.
Jenna's behavior puts a damper on an otherwise satisfying second chance romance. Moreover, Gage's revelation at the end makes his decision to end his marriage to Jenna seem childish and idiotic.
The secondary storyline involving Grace and Zach is uninteresting perhaps because neither character is particularly appealing and it is difficult to care about the disintegration of their relationship. Also, Grace actions are excessive and borderline criminal. Thus, I will not be reading the final installment in the series.

Jenna wants a baby. Her friends, aided by a few drinks, devise a misguided plan to help her out by seducing her ex-husband. While not my favorite romance novel plot, I enjoyed the first book in the series enough to keep going. Super steamy (enough to unravel your latest knitting project)and touching on some interesting deeper issues, I enjoyed the read. Looking forward to the next in the series.

DNF only after 30 pages. I couldn't read anymore after the main character decided to drug and rape her ex-husband.
