Once again Marisha Pessl is out here making me wish the media that exists in her books existed for real!  Really enjoyed this one, found myself absolutely tearing through it which is nice considering my reading focus has been terrible lately. I wish the Jim mystery had been resolved in a different way, but otherwise really found this to be a real pageturner with excellent writing!

it was going so well until the ending. i generally don’t mind books that close every plot and question they open, and if it weren’t for the revelation(s) at the end, i would’ve rated this 4.5 instead. would still recommend to anyone who loves mystery and urban/contemporary fantasy.

EDIT--
Bumping this down to 1 star... Even thought I said I enjoyed it I didn't I really. Whenever I have thought of this book since reading it, gives me a really weird feeling I don't like.

I think I want to give this book a 3.5 Stars. I did really enjoy this book. Kept me guessing (mostly wrongly). I never knew what was going to happen. Then at the end I'm not sure what did happen was what actually happened. I never felt strongly towards any of the character in particular. I mostly wanted to know what happened / why it happened.

I had a very similar feeling when I read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke last July. The questions answered leaves me with an uneasy feeling.
