Spurrier sticks the landing in this final arc. Rock-he Kim returns, this time just on pencils, and the art is pretty solid. The climax is less about big action set pieces and spectacle (thought there is plenty) but more about catharsis. Spurrier continues his exploration of this team’s deep trauma and wraps everything up in a satisfying way. Fantomex is one of my favorite characters, and I was a bit worried about his heel turn, but I think Spurrier sells it well enough and the toy gets put back in the box in the end.

Sigh. Not like I've ever been a fan of Cable. Or Psylocke. But there might have been a story in here somewhere. Certainly the idea of a kernel of a story. But instead it with mostly stupid incoherent drek with a little bit of interesting write around Hope.

Very cyberpunk-y but such interesting concepts!

A bit hard to follow but overall very enjoyable.

I have no idea why I gave this series another chance. A story that could have been told in one issue spread out over a whole tome. Three characters pretty much totally changed for no reason. Artwork that is iffy at times and then flat out confused to the point of being impossible to understand at others. Just a total bomb.
