I can't believe I didn't read this sooner. I actually felt Frankenstein's monster was so humane and it really tilted my perception of what I was going to be reading. I genuinely loved this.

Can’t believe I’ve lived this long and had never read this book. My idea of Frankenstein is so colored by the image of Boris Karloff with green skin and bolts in his head, so I was completely surprised by the book. It’s full of alienation, abandonment, and revenge, and Frankenstein’s creation is so far from that movie image I had. Glad I finally read it!
