Despite a few little awkward moments, I thought this had a real good story line seeing as it was a little hockey romance, about a 4-5 hour listen on Audible.

DNF - Chapter 9. I can't do it. The FMC is horrible!!!!! Immature and disrespectful. I just can not.

This was a cute and fun read that at times would have me swooning so hard for Quinn then other moments kind of sad for George because their history. Quinn and George have a history but with turns of events Quinn doesn’t recognize her or act like he knows her and this further makes George angry because it’s been years that she’s compared every man to him and this makes her so upset. Not to give too much away I love this series, the group dynamics, the laughs, the swoons, and the hot hockey players.

100% better than the first one; I connected way more with the characters, both Quinn and George won a place in my heart (though I must say I'm a sucker for females with male/unisex names). The conflict was more complex in this way, but the way it was resolved so quickly left me feeling weird, like maybe it should've been a bigger deal or something to make the book more interesting. Still, I really liked it and will probably read it again, and that's the biggest compliment I can dole out. I think I found a new fav author Mira Lyn Kelly, she can write thoughtful, respectful male characters like no other and the fact that there's little to no slut shaming in this Sports NA gives her major points.
