Ok here's the thing you got an novella that is basically more well-written than thousands and thousands of full-length books. I'm not even kidding.

You can't read this novella as a standalone, you have to have read all of them beforehand especially a Charm of Finches and a Scarcity of Condors.

Now...thisnis basically smut. But it is beautiful smut. You can see from the Blurb what the author says it it: It's basically boning and yeah it was it was that but it was even more intimate than many many books that I've read.

The intimacy, love and sweetness between the characters, especially Javi and Steph, who will always be one of my top ever couples just pours out of these pages.

A 76 page novella that packed enough punch to get you to swoon and tear up and smile and probably have a cold shower afterwards. It was that good.

I'm just amazed that this author is not as famous as other authors. No offense to anyone but she's just so talented and she deserves more recognition. Those high ratings you see of her books? They're 100% deserved. Do yourself a favor and read her books.

Suanne, I just love your words.

Another fuckton of gratuitous boning with the Venery boys is not something I'd say no too. So yeah I practically jumped on the chance to read and review A Plump of Woodcocks. This book a compilation of deleted scenes that didn't make it in the books and I couldn't have loved it all more.

Everything I read in this book, literally every scene made me want to fan myself. But I also gotta say it wasn't just smutty scenes, although let's be fair there wouldn't be anything wrong with it if it was just that. But the scenes also had emotion and love and just made my heart ache and burst.

All the extra and deleted scenes were delicious and the dirty talk was sexy as hell. I just love Jude & Tej and Stef & Jav so damn much. I don't think I could ever get sick of reading about them. It's just not possible. If you haven't started the Venery series by Suanne Laqueur yet then I would highly suggest you do so as soon as possible because it's one of my favorite series and I just can't stop fangirling about it. Seriously go read it.

Reading Suanne’s works makes me so overwhelmed that I need to hold myself back from weeping she writes with a prose and depth of emotion that is unparalleled. Her characters don’t just fall in love, they devour each other heart and soul and we, the reader, are lucky enough to bear witness to it.

When an introduction says that the book is a fuckton of gratuitous boning then I know it’s my kind of book.

Throw in a Finch, Tej rhymes with page, Alex with glasses on, and a beautiful ex-escort and I’m all in. ALL IN!

I love these little outtakes. The extras that didn’t make the books. The scenes that didn’t quite fit. The add ons that Suanne couldn’t help but write. But we are going to have words lady! I’m giving you a Paddington stare! Don’t mess with my Finch! Write another one right now to explain yourself and make everything right with the world. Sit down, pen out, I insist.

I loved every sexy minute of boning and the bits that didn’t involve boning. Just my sweet boys loving each other and being loved in return. My heart is full.

My little trip to Tumblr was worth it too as I found a new blog to follow that, you guessed it; is full of gratuitous boning.

I've never read the Venery series that's probably why I had no idea WTF was happening. It was supposed to be a stand-alone but having no history and no background of the people and their relationships it was hard for me to connect with the book.

Even the sex scenes were overwhelming in a bad way. Too much talking and when they were about to do the dirty you suddenly lost interest because they would not SHUT UP.

If I ever read the Venery series I would give it another try.
