I think my interest in Karin Slaughter is waning. This book was fine. The premise was good but there were so many characters and so much going on that it was hard to keep track and stay engaged. Also, knowing how the series ends in the next book really coloured my perception of this book. If I'd read the series start to finished I would be LIVID. Anyway, that aside this was an ok book. I doubt I'll remember it in a week or two, but that feels pretty normal for this kind of book.

Karin Slaughter does the darkness of a soul so well. But I’m also glad this series is coming to an end soon. Is been an exhausting ride.

Another excellent book written by Karin Slaughter to continue the grant county series. At times it was a hard read, with some very graphic and detailed scenes but it is nice to see characters like Sarah and Jeffery developing as the series goes on.
