It doesnt match the first series, but this is a great add on to the ever growing DCeased world, and a nice way to fill in some of the time skips and alt perspectives across the world as the events unfolded. A couple of the issues were lower ratings and a couple higher so I've averaged it out to a 3 overall, with the latter half really bringing it back up

The number of times each chapter in this series makes me smile or laugh and compels me to snap a photo of a particular set of panels reminds me of why I loved Tom Taylor's writing in Injustice: Gods Among Us. It's really incredible how good he makes a universe-wide alternate reality based on a ultra-viral zombie outbreak and a 1v1 fighting video game, respectively.

While this is probably the weakest entry in the DCeased series for me, its still a great read! I absolutely loved the Ace and Krypto team up issue that was amazing, seeing Damian as Batman, Clark and Jon’s relationship, it’s all great. The stakes in this book seemed a lot lower just because we obviously know what’s coming as this is a prequel, so there was no real fear of losing any characters like there is in previous entry’s which was one of my favourite parts. The suspense of not knowing who could just drop dead is one of the best parts about this series, and it’s unfortunately not as present here, but it still holds up!

Still quite fun, though I've never been a big Black Adam guy. He's DC's Doctor Doom, and he's just not a huge asshole like Doctor Doom is.

Read Secret Wars (the first one). Doom is an amazing dickhead, arrogant as fuck. He refuses to join any other faction, he thinks they're beneath him, and in this book it's made canonical that Doom narrates everything he does because he's recording it all.

But my FAVORITE Doom is from a Brian Clevenger book where Doom is insulted by the suggestion he use a door: "The door? Like a peasant!?"

What I'm saying is that Black Adam reminds me of Doom, and much like the difference between taking a watery shit and a huge, satisfying dump, the lesser version just doesn't cut it.

Une timeline qui s’égare du tome 1. Franchement ça fait un peu moins mal au coeur. Mais j’aurai aimé savoir ce qui arrive à Steph et Cass

Et franchement they did Talia justice. A queen
