I didn't expect to like this one as much as I did, but I literally cried at the end.
Sword of Destiny is ALSO a book of short stories but the time jumps weren't nearly as mind spinning and the stories felt like they each lent to the next. To be completely serious, I actually cried twice listening to this book. And I also audibly laughed multiple times (though no part will ever top Dandelion's "INNOCENT!" from the first book). Geralt felt more real and more relatable and I appreciated the look into his thoughts more.
Also, I don't know who that voice actor is but he's an absolute STAR. I know that it was him voicing every character but I swear he made me believe it was different people somehow. His MERMAID voice? Incredible. Ciri? SO GOOD. I love him.
