I absolutely loved this book. From the character buildup and growth throughout the book, to the plot and story line pace, I loved every second of it. It didn’t have a ton of fluff other than the spice which I appreciated. It was the perfect amount of paranormal. The spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️but also didn’t consume the story. I would so read this book again. I wouldn’t f… a demon but if I did Leon would be my man… uh demon… uh monster?!?!🥵🥵

Harley knows how to write an unhinged possessive demon & a wild FMC cause 😮‍💨 honestly I was here for it and could not put it down!

For those steamy book lovers out there - this could be one for you! I loved Leon and how snarky and evil he was, but also showing a softy side when it comes to Rae.  There is a lot of fun demon lore and magic in this book that was interesting.  It's a CHUNKY book but the writing is so good that it was easy to read and fly through.  There is steam, angst, lots of consent, summoning and gore - quite a well done horror element to it all!
I personally don't think that demon romance is for me, so I can't give my opinion on that so much, but I would look for other reviews from people who love this niche.  Also, the FMC Rae made THE WORST decisions and it's lucky this is a series because if not she would not have survived this book, which is not my favorite trait - I can read it to a point, but some of this made me actively yell at her.

I also listened to a sample of the audiobook and both narrators sound fantastic so also a good way to go I think.
