******SPOILERS AHEAD******

What a plot twist! If every single human would become a Ghoul, whom would they slay? Would they slay humans, won't they be then slaying their families even? The fact that this disease - ROS was planted into the manga right at the beginning, genius writing!

They have nothing to do with your own power in this world. Your surroundings, luck, fate, all these elements interact to produce results ~ Urie Kuki

Urie has had a wonderful character development. Who'd have thought, this credit obsessed guy would one day admit that he might have been saved by others? He's grown into such a sensible man, I'm so proud of him!

Lastly, I feel something has changed in Kaneki? In a twisted way, he's managed to combine the efforts of CCG and Ghouls. His loved ones are safe, he's been saved. Did that relieve him of his pain and worry? How did his hand heal? He seems energetic and ready to take responsibility. I just hope he sticks to his new policy of supporting others while also being supported by them!

Another solid instalment in this epic series!!

In this volume we see Mutsuki get his butt kicked by Urie and Yonebayashi (for some reason, my attraction to Urie has peaked in this volume!)

We also learn more about RIZE and the horrific future she escaped *shudders* And how her and Kaneki are more connected than ever in a few interesting and aesthetic chapters.

Elsewhere Touka frees Kaneki from the centipede/dragon thingy he became after consuming lots of oggai…and he awakens to find he is surrounded by the goat ghouls and the CCG. And learns Hide is actually alive!!

Also, Nimura Furuta is still being a typical villain and revels in what he thought would happen, happens - namely that normal humans are now turning into ghouls!

Yonebayashi becomes infected with the spawn of the centipede/dragon but Kaneki seems almost invincible to the threat that’s plaguing pretty much everyone!

This instalment ends with a really emotional reunion between Kaneki and Hide with the latter showing Kaneki what he did to his face in order to stay alive! *weeps*
