Whaaaaaat!!!! *standing ovation*
I did not see that end coming!!

I think this may be my favorite ending to one of Meghan March's trilogies to date. Action packed, swoony, surprisingly emotional and incredibly sexy, Heart of the Devil was everything!! It took me on the wildest ride. I was so messed up with the way Luck of Devil ended that I actively counted down the days until I had Heart in my hands. I hadn't been this desperate for answers in a long time. Let me tell you. Meghan March delivers in a big, heart pounding way.

This book, more than the other two books, put my emotions through the dang wringer. I loved Indy and Jericho so dang much that I felt everything they felt. Gah! This book was so good. My obsession for this couple has only multiplied.

This book...this series...is everything I love about suspenseful romance. Meghan March has absolutely mastered this genre. Get ready to fall in love with Jericho Forge all over again.

I didn’t love this series, but ending each one on a cliff-hanger was super effective and made me keep reading! (Book 3 does have a definite conclusion.)

Heart Of The Devil picks up right where Luck Of The Devils ends. You are instantly transported back into India and Forge’s lives. I was thrown for several loops and turns! This was literally a page turner!!! I had to know how their story ends and Meghan definitely didn’t disappoint!! Their story has become one of my favorites!! I’m ready for whatever Meghan writes next!!!!

Heart of the Devil (Forge Trilogy #3) by Meghan March

Narrated by Joe Arden and Erin Mallon

Book 3 in the Forge Trilogy. Romantic Suspense.

When Heart of the Devil (Forge Trilogy 3) by Meghan March showed up in my audiobooks, I immediately dropped what I was listening to and dove right in. I re-listened to Luck of the Devil first so I would be right back there in all of the excitement as soon as I got it and I am happy to say the conclusion lived up to everything I thought it would.

There were so many great twists and turns in this series, we never know who to trust, but it was so much fun trying to figure it all out.
“They can torture me. Peel the fucking skin from my body. But if they fucking dare to touch one hair on her head…I’ll burn the entire world down.”

Following Jericho and Indy as their relationship weathered all the drama around them was pure pleasure reading as I swooned, gasped, and cried happy and sad tears. What started as a game turned into pure perfection. These two were meant to be together. I loved India’s strength, and that she doesn’t back down. You go, girl!
“Jericho Forge has become as necessary in my life as breathing. He gives me something I’ve never had before–acceptance.”

I am so glad that the last book in the series wasn’t just answering all the questions (though it did), but so much more story happened. It’s hard to believe how much was packed into this last book, and I was riveted till the very end.

Likes:

  • •Lots of twists, turns, and surprises.

  • •I bit off all my nails in the excitement (well, maybe I shouldn’t like that, but I do!)

  • •Jericho and Indy had to learn to figure out what is really important.

  • •I rarely read trilogies anymore, but I am so glad Meghan had 3 books to spread this out and really flesh out the story.

  • •By the end of a series, I usually start confusing all the side characters but never felt that way even for a second.

  • •Awesome sexy times.

  • •Loved the epilogue.

Dislikes:

  • •I wish there was another epilogue a little further in the future. I wasn’t ready to leave yet.

The Narration:

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon can do no wrong. They were absolutely perfect for Jericho and Indy, and I find it hard now to hear them as anyone else.

The Down & Dirty:

The Forge Trilogy by Meghan March is now one of my favorites. It’s the perfect blend of romance, excitement, adventure, super-hot sex, emotion, and pure adrenaline. I am jealous of all the people who waited for all three to come out so they can just totally binge. This is absolutely a perfect binge read (or listen), and the conclusion was just as good as the rest.

Meghan March has now become an auto-buy author for me, and since I saw she announced that she was writing a story about Canon from The Dirty Billionaire Series, I decided a re-listen to that trilogy was in order because I was just not ready to leave a world that Meghan created.

Rating: 5 Stars, 4.5 Heat, 5 Narration

Forge lived up to his expectations and so did India. The chemistry between them was amazing! Meghan delivered as always, the only downfall with this series was SUMMER and the ending. i've never hated a second character like I did summer.

BE WARE SPOILERS UP NEXT
She was a spoiled little girl who was entitled asf. Yeah her being taken wasn't her fault but come on now. She:
1. Used her sisters name and reputation to gamble and get in debt
2. Goes on a shopping free with Forge's $$ after she was saved like she earned it all
3. Throws a fit and BLAMES her sister for her being fired from a job FORGE got her.

I'm sorry but she was ungrateful asf for what he sister went through to save her.

Like I said Meghan never fails, I wish she would've stuck with the story line. we could've had soooooo much more happen. The ending just felt random and thrown together. It fell short for me. I didn't like it, regardless of that she delivered the romance and suspense.
