Definitely for a younger audience. The main plot centers a questioning teen boy, and two friends during the Vancouver gay games 1990. Historically accurate - it was cool to learn about this time in yvr

It's medium paced and focuses on the crushes of the characters and their friendship. Props to the author for bringing in a lesbian sub-plot and expanding away from just a cis-gay perspective. Touches lightly on HIV/AIDS, being disowned, and anti-gay protesting but overall stays positive
