I guess I'd considered all of Nathan's poetry to be ode-ic of some fashion. Now I'll have to review his entire catalogue to pick up the nuance. Quibbling aside, his style lends itself to the ode. He infuses his usual candor and sense of irony. Not my favorite of his stuff, but good nonetheless.
