not for kids by any means. these characters and the freaky little scenarios they experience feel extremely real and believable, even though they’re all Creatures TM. I hate and love them and feel sorry for them and disgusted by them and I can’t get enough

WWJ's kids break me every time

Favorite chapter has to be the beauty pagent dupe! Confusing with so many layers- I read it like 4 times in a row.

Of course Owl has a TEDTalk memorized, and the fact it was on modern masculinity IS ON BRAND SO

A wonderful collection of my favorite depressed losers! I think the only thing I wish for these collections is that someday a master chronological version of every book could be made so I can see all the mess happen in order. I know the specific order of the garbage they get into doesn’t really matter, and that the lack of a timeline shows how disconnected and adrift they each are from life, but there are certain things that happen I wish I could see play out over time. Damn I love these anthropomorphic hot messes.
