Kept emphasizing how unusual the labyrinth is. It ISN'T.
Otherwise, it's a great story.

Started kind of slow for me, but in the end I liked it. Will check out the next one in the series.

This books defiantly took a lot of effort to read but it was good! I loved how all the story lines tied together and it was the perfect mix of history/fantasy. It gave me Indiana Jones Vibes. It did take a very long time to find out what the grail actually was but it was neat to learn things at the same time as the characters.

For a book named Labyrinth there was not a single time we were actually in a labyrinth. I feel kind of tricked by the title and the back of the book. In the end, the idea of the Grail was more important than it itself and uhhhh it was overall just super good in the beginning and then a historical fiction retelling of the crusades in France. Which was not what I was expecting. So by the end my brain just consumed basically bare minimum information and I just guessed the ending and went yeaaaa saw that one coming.

Marginally better than the Divinci code this book is another contrived "look how these two stories run together" spoon feeding plot progression that allows you to figure out the big twist at the end about a hundred pages before it happens.
pass.
pass.
