I needed something quick and easy. Also, I wanted something bright and colorful during this summer season. This was the perfect read.
I don’t know why but I didn’t expect it to fly by so quickly lmao. I’ve never read a full on graphic novel so I didn’t know how pacing of them worked. I swear I was flipping pages and then before I knew it, I was finished.
Definitely continuing this series. It was a hoot 🙂

This was fantastic. I loved the art, even though it had a simple pallet it worked well with the story. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up, and it definitely didn't go the usual route of a romance between the Greek Gods.
Persephone is naive and innocent, while Hades is gentlemanly and kind. It's a good dynamic that I wasn't expecting given the mythology behind their relationship.
I did not expect this book to make me cry but it did, the SA chapters are brutal and unexpected. So beware of that.
