This delightful, short story surprised me at every twist and turn! A book is good to me when the ending surprises me. This one did that many times over and didn't follow any of the tired writing tropes I would have expected from a story of this type. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous concept and I loved the nameless narrator.

I really enjoyed this long novelette, which uses the "decomissioning" of a campus god to about how our institutions define and alter their own histories, and who gets to decide what is worth remembering.
